Sold a saddle that I did not know had a messed up fender (aparently unknowingly bought it that way too) and need to have the fender replaced. It's an older brand, used saddle so nothing fancy needs put on it. Just new fender.

RoaniePonie11 - 2015-07-09 1:52 PM Yes. Do you have an answer to my question?
Check out ebay, they have replacement fenders for 200 and under. If you have a saddle shop in your area I would call them I'm thinking in the 250 price range.

Lady - 2015-07-09 1:56 PM I think I've seen them through Smith Brothers or NRS. Maybe look at their online store and search. Edited to add: Found this at Smith Brothers. Spendy! http://www.smithbrothers.com/barrel-racing-roughout-fenders/p/X3-11... That looks like a good deal, I had a set replace many moons ago and I think it was about 150.00 and had a good saddle shop to do it for me.

I had a longer set of fenders made for a saddle I bought that the fenders had been cut off of, had them
made last year, just plain roughout fenders = $200 from the only tack shop within an hours drive!!

I had both of my fenders replaced on an older Billy Cook a couple years ago through a local saddle shop for $150 He made them identical to the old ones color and all... It took about a week I think but it's been long enough that I forgot the exact time frame

I gave $180 for a set of Billy Cook fenders. Had to because a "friend" sold the set I loaned him. Then my son won a trophy saddle. They have never even been put on.

With the high cost of leather at this time.....that price is extremely reasonable......Most saddle makers would charge a minimum of $200-$250.
