I have two that are 25 and 26 years old. They have looked great the last few years, but are slowly looking their ages. I keep up with their teeth so that isn't an issue. There is a feed store not far from me that only offers Lonestar feeds. Was wondering about SuperGlo. I've never used it and usually feed Purina Senior. I've heard good and bad about lonestar, but wanted more opinions before making a switch.

Don't think in much help, but one of My pasture buddy's 16 yr old horse is on super glo and hes a fatty. He switched from the pellets to super glo when he moved here and I've noticed a difference over time. The guy just perfers lonestar feeds because he's fed it for decades.

I have fed Lonestar Super Glo 3 for years. I have a 21 year old broodmare and that is all she gets. She will not eat Platinum so I do not feed it to her. I have a really hard keeper (who is my picky eater) and he looks great--he is 16. My babies get the same feed so really everybody at my house eats the Super Glo 3.
