I submitted my children's picture book manuscript to a publisher & they absolutely love it. BUT.....They want the art to go with it so I need to collaborate with an artist. The art is all they're waiting on.
I love the SkippyJon Jones books and the artwork in those is what I've always had in mind for my story. I think it would be awesome if a horse person was the artist because they could capture the the feel of the book.
If anyone is interested PM me. This could be a good way to add to a portfolio.

Thank you gals -- got the PM's sent.
There was a book pitch on Twitter all day today where you pitch your book in a tweet and all the publishers & literary agents follow the hashtag & favorite the ones they're interested in -- I wound up getting submission requests for both picture books by a publisher and two literary agents, and then requests on my short story and my latest romance novella. Been a busy night getting all that out!
