Hey y'all, so I was wondering if anyone in North Texas around would give me lessons if I worked for them? My main focus is barrel racing but id love to learn other things as well such as pole bending, roping, and goat tying. I'm a good worker I've cleaned stalls, washed, feed, watered, and I'm willing to learn anything that you need me too. I can give you references to the people I've worked with if needed. I've worked with 2 people the first one was a friends mom she said that I was learning extremely fast but she got injured and we quite doing lessons. The second was a lady down where my grandma lives we did a few lessons together but I had to go back home and she live two hours away. I've been told to go to rodeos and ask around but my parents won't take me and all I have is a permint so I can't really drive there my self. They are willing to take me though if I can actually find someone. My parents really don't support that I want to learn rodeo they think it's crazy but it's been my dream since I was small and I'm not gonna give up on it just because they don't like it. I almost forgot to tell y'all a bit about me, I'm a 16 year old girl from Sanger it's just north of Denton. Please y'all let me know if y'all can train me or if you know someone who might be able to do so. It would mean the world to me. Thanks!
