God loves it when we worship Him. He is glorified and honored when we turn our eyes upon His greatness and fully acknowledge who He is. Indeed, worship blesses God's heart, and it changes our hearts as we get our eyes off our problems and onto the Problem Solver.
Psalm 96 gives us a blueprint for worship. You see, when we are truly worshipping, we are fully engaged. We open our mouths and proclaim the good news of salvation unashamedly declare His glory and power. We bring generous offerings and give cheerfully to His kingdom's work on earth. We get our hearts right and rejoice in Him, acknowledging that He is the rightous judge who is coming again.
True worship is filled with exuberance and joy as we focus on who God is and what He has done. Those who truly worship are truly changed as they experience a fresh encounter with the living God.
