I started my "nervous" gelding on B1 supplement from smartpak. Does it actually work? He's been on it for about 4 days now, on the ground he seems to have calmed a bit. Undersaddle haven't noticed too much other than time delay when reacting. Has anyone ever used this supplement? Or am I just burning money?

I used B1 on a very nervous one I had a couple of years ago. At first, I thought it helped, but if there was a temperament change, it was short-lived. I quit the B1 after 6 months and there was no behavior change when I stopped it, so quit wasting money on it.

UTAHCANCHASER - 2015-07-21 9:27 AM Try some JailBreak from OxyGen. It is $25 a tube but you get 4 doses out of it. I have had it work wonders on the 2 horses I used it on.
Do I just give it to him when I haul to a rodeo/barrel race? Or does is it long lasting?

I used B1 on a very buddy sour nervous horse and it worked wonders for him. Very cheap. Didn't buy from dealer just bought ad supply store for about $8 and tried stopping once when I thought he had matured but put him back on real quick

I gave mine when I rode/ran. I think they have something that is a feed through now.
