| Last night my mare was feeling quite frisky and I ended up having to bail off of her at one point. Luckily, I was not hurt at all, but since I am often riding alone it made me realize the importance of having a cell phone on your body. I hate putting them in my pockets since it seems like they can easily fall out, and I've never been a fan of sticking it in my bra or anywhere else. I have this thing called a Flipbelt that I originally bought for running, to keep my keys and cell in. I've been wearing it while I ride lately and I love it. It's pretty easy access to your cell phone, but stays close to your body so it's not bouncing around (like a fanny pack or something). Anyway, just wanted to pass along this tip to anyone who may be looking for a way to carry your cell! I am not affiliated with this company...just like their product!

I've worn mine a lot, and have even worn it to concerts and places I need to take my ID, money, keys, etc but don't want to carry a purse. If you're wearing a semi-long shirt (tshirt length) you can't see it underneath and it's comfortable to wear. I'm wearing a size small in that picture. My friend bought the extra small, which is what was recommended for her height/weight, but it's tight on her and me. If you're borderline in size, I'd probably go up which is what I did. They stretch a lot, but nobody likes feeling their guts are being squeezed out lol. |

I have a phone case holder that clips to my hip and actually was lucky enough to find one that holds my iphone and sits horizontally (vertical sometime get in the way). Defiantly important to have your phone conveniently handy! This is a neat belt tho! And less noticable than my bulk case sometimes! haha |

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | Hey thanks for the tip! I always have mine in an ArmBand holder but strapped around the top of my half chap/below my knee when riding. BUT...where I live and trail ride now we often cross water and some deeper creeks/rivers. So I have been putting it in my pack. Not good if we part ways.
I just ordered one of these FlipBelts...great idea and I can use it hiking too. Thanks!
There's a coupon code for 10% off And they have free standard shipping: FB10 |

Where do you find one? I hate carrying mine in my pocket because when I get up out of my saddle, it kind of stabs me in the leg. |

I had that problem with a different running belt - a Spibelt. It wouldn't roll all the way up but it did wiggle and move my shirt up and drive me bonkers. So now I clip it around my rib cage right under my bra. I look SUPER COOL but it works. |

Mine does ride up, off my hips and onto my stomach. It's not awful, but slightly annoying. Better than sitting on the phone or having it dig into my thigh... |

Location: NE Texas | Perhaps my ring tone should be changed to "Baby Got Back....And Front".....no room in the inn in the ol bra. And you bra pocketers obviously don't sweat like a full grown man like I do. If I did put my phone in my bra, that thing would be water logged in about 2.3 minutes in this Texas heat. |

Hehe... I actually killed a phone that way. Forgot to leave it in the truck, stuck it in my bra to walk from the trailer to the arena and waterlogged it. |

| I don't know how you guys put it in your bra, I think that is so uncomfortable! And my phone gets disgusting from the sweat lol.
I'm not gonna lie, I've actually worn this belt under a semi-tight fitting shirt because it made my love handles shrink! I'm not sure how it would work or if it would roll up if you've got bigger hips...I've got kind of the opposite problem! |

Yes, it's in an otterbox. Dang thing is huge and barely fits in my back pocket. I just don't even carry it when I ride. |

This happened to me as well even in an otterbox. The sweat and humidity messed up the charging port. |

shoot, I just asked one of the girls (whose aunt is one starting this). You place an order through kickstarter to be one of the first to get the product. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/28296004/ugo-the-worlds-1st-small-profile-waterproof-pack
I am not affiliated with this, just from MN and have heard about it through friends on facebook. Thought it was cool! |
