well to each his own!! i am going to be the odd ball out!!! I HATE mine with a passion!!! i wish i could up with a way to cut them out without messing up the value of my saddle....so i guess i will live with it..but i HATE THEM!!

I agree, just feels too bulky and stiff. Its not that much work to wet your fenders and turn your stirrups.

You could put new fenders on it if you like everything else about the saddle.
I did get one that had the hamley twist done wrong, it was AWFUL... they took it back and redid it. It was so uncomfortable.

no hated it, had it own a brand new Martin thinking the same as o/p it takes the time to twist the fenders....but the twist rubbed both inside of my ankles. I had Martin replace the fenders with normal ones and I twisted them myself.
