For those that have ridden in both which do you prefer?  I currently have a Crown C and I have loved it up until recently.  I am looking to trade it off and don't know if I want to go with another Crown C with a wider gullet or try out the FX3.

I may not be a lot of help, but I have only tried the Crown C and it is the best saddle I've ridden in. Fits me and my horse like a glove.

I really like the crown c but I've just recently ordered an fx3. I won't have it until next month but from what I understand the fx3 sits you back more on your pockets. I decided to go with it because my horse drops into his turns and I struggle to sit back. I'm hoping that I love it!

I have both, and both are great saddles. Based on my use, I feel the FX3 is a more secure feeling saddle and would be a better feel for a beginner or someone who has a difficult time keeping his/her trunk in correct position. Either of these saddles will throw your upper body forward if you are TOO BIG for the seat size.

There have been many threads on this.....my experience has been the Crown C tipped my hips forward and made them hurt, FX3 sits me back nice and that's why I bought one. All depends really on how you like to sit in your saddle.
