Location: MD | I have USRider and have used it on a few occasions. Their service providers can be a bit limited in some areas, but I've never called that I didn't get the help that I needed. |

Location: So. California | I have AAA - They tow, replace a tire, etc. They will NOT tow the trailer with livestock aboard - you must unload before they tow. |

| US Rider. Have had that for about 5 years now. AAA will not touch a daully or any kind of trailer. USRider also helps in horse emergencies |

Location: Texas | US Rider did nothing for me. The people they use are not equipped to handle bigger trailers. All I'm gonna say is get an inverter put in your truck and have all the tools you need to do it yourself! Get you and electric impact and a 20 ton hydrolic Jack. I was on the side of the road for 6 hours on the way to AZ waiting on US rider to find someone to help me. I took matters into my own hands and got someone there but it was scary! |

AAA also will not change an inside dual.
I have US Rider and they have been great each of the few times I have had to call. One time we slung tread on a trailer tire and it cut our light and brake lines. The roadside assistance they sent out changed the tire and rewired the brakes/lights which was awesome since were 3.5 hours from home. |

Are you sure,
As I have the Canadian version of AAA, and I pay 180/yr which is RV plus, they will change any tire for me including dual tire.
There is conflicting information on whether or not they will haul a fully loaded trailer, some agents say they will, and some agents say they won't, I have never had to test it.
For AAA I would see if there are different pay levels and see what they cover |

Yes, I have been in a situation with a friend who had a flat on her trailer. She called US Rider and they sent someone out only to have him say he couldn't fix the tire on the trailer. I noticed he had the AAA symbol on his truck (he was from the local shop) and asked him if he could do it with my AAA Platinum coverage and he said that wasn't a problem. It was the most confusing thing! That being said I have AAA Platinum and US Rider because my husband worries about me hauling around by myself. It's probably overkill, but we have found US Rider offers amazing partnership deals. If you rent a car once or twice a year, the discount offered through US Rider on the rental car almost pays for the US Rider yearly dues. |

| If you belong to APHA they are offering to pay the $29 processing fee to US RIDER ... just received the email so it is in effect... on new and renewals of US RIDER MEMBERSHIPS ..
As usual APHA was behind times ... I received the email after I had already re-newed my US RIDER MEMBERSHIP ... evidently they send emails out 10 days prior to your renewal ... and their email is slow ... I received it 6 days prior ... lol .. |

I just know when I was first shopping for roadside assistance I called AAA and they plainely told me they would not touch an inside dual or a horse trailer. US Rider on the other hand has handled several issues for me over a 6 or 7 year period and I have never had them turn down any kind of assistance request. They have always given me very prompt, efficient and courteous service. If you have ever had to pay out of pocket for a semi-wrecker onthe roadside in the wee hours of the morning you know that the annual cost of US Rider is way way cheaper!! |

You are correct plus if you are at a show and your horse is sick US Rider will get a vet out. Your truck quits and you have to have a place to board horses they will find a place. AAA does not do this. |

| I have had US Rider for 7 years and recently switched to Trail Guard- No annual limits like US Rider and no extra fee for spouse or family member- also US rider was OK but limited with long waits for response to situation for me. One time we were clearly ripped off for a light/brake plug that came out of trailer and provider couldn't fix or replace after 4 hours of waiting on side of road- then used duct tape and told us that was all he could do- charged us $600 or calling police and US Rider did nothing to help with this person they sent-? You may want to compare what Trail Guard offers in comparison . AAA clearly stated to me they would not haul a trailer with horses in it . |

They will not tow the trailer or do anything with the trailer. I know. I had them and even paid the RV added premium and the agent TOLD me that they WOULD, but when I got stranded in Memphis and called them, they told me if they did anything with the trailer, it would be at my expense. I had to rely on some neighborly cowboys to help. AAA is a joke. I have US Rider and they've helped me every single time I've called them. It may take awhile to get there, but it's never cost me a dime and they were courteous and got me on the road again. |
