| Do people tend to shy away from this color when purchasing? If yes, why? |

| Some dont like it because they think it is ugly and more work when dealing with sun related issues. Others really like them. |

Location: Florissant CO | I had one in my youth I would love to get another Cremello/Prelino. Color just like people doesn't dictate how hard they will work and what their abilities are its in the horse its self. |

Location: Washington. (The DRY side.) | I won't have one, because I am one that thinks they are fugly. I'm not a "color" breeder either. So the fact that they are 100% color producers does othing for me. Double dilutes are the olny colors I am "against". I'm not a fan of sorrel either, but won't over look one if it is what I want other than the color. But I won't have a double dilute no matter HOW it is bred! |

Location: North Dakota | I think Cremello's are pretty. I don't mind dealing with the sunburn issue so I would buy one. I know a lot of people don't want to worry about it though or just think they're ugly. Kind of a 50/50 chance of people either loving or hating them. |

Location: sunny california | I have a perlino that I do get a lot of compliments on. Many of them coming from people how said they never liked them before. He is great conformation and a lot of talent so they overlook his color. I will say that had he been a bay I could not have afforded him. so yes I would say it affects their price. I would not buy one to resell. I would only buy one for my personal horse |

Location: Texas | I have one!! Love him to pieces! Runs amazing! (Pulled me 3 checks this weekend). I do think it affects price (unfortunately) because most people don't want to deal with the Sun issues. Blue has a fly mask on during the day (except when I ride) and sunscreen on his little pink nose. In the 8 yrs that I have owned him his body has only burned twice. |

 Own It and Move On
Location: The edge of no where | It would have to be a very exceptional individual and way underpriced for me to consider. Sunburn issues, and it does seem that quote a few lighter skinned horses have more sensitive skin - allerigic issues. I don't buy anything without taking resell value into consideration, so I'd likely pass. |

| When I bought my mare she was under-priced, I suspected due to her color (cremello). Quite frankly it didn't bother me any, and a lot of people think they sunburn but their bodies don't unless they have white or white on their nose. Same as any other horse. Mine wears a flymask and flysheet just like my other horses. I have noticed some people like the color or extremely don't. But if the horse is fast and wins, who cares what color it is? Heck I ran my mare this weekend and was top of the 1D with 350+. Being a 100% color producer for me was a bonus. |

Yes he is!! He has a personality that's for sure :). He's calm and laid back until you get in he alley way then you better be ready to run. He's a little thing he's lucky if on his heaviest day he weighs 750 lbs.

| Yes I would love to see pictures!
We had been searching for a 2 year old and found one bred just like we wanted, great confirmation and size but she is cremello. So we are on the fence about it. She is a mare so color producer is a benefit since she is bred really well for what we like! But we just can't decide |

If she's everything you want don't let the color stop you---just my opinion! And yes to pics from everyone. We were at run in Jackson this weekend and there was a very pretty cremello there. Didn't get to see it run but very nice looking |

We have a paint that is pink on half his head, I swear (!!), and I bought sunscreen for him. Well, I didn't pay attention that it was colored sunscreen so you could tell where it had already been applied. . . . .So we had a red roan paint with a HOT pink nose. He wasn't impressed with how cute he was, I don't think!!! |

Until you find out there is a hidden gray gene in that cremello and your foal turns gray. I did not want a gray horse, but that's what I'm ending up with, because the breeders did not test for gray in their "color producing" mare. I am not happy, at all.

Location: California | I never thought I would like one or own one but I fell in love with my boy the first time I saw him. Honestly, my paint sun burnt way worse than my cremello does. He lives in a turn out with no shelter with a fly sheet and a long fly mask and he has never burned. I think I have always just seen poorly built and dirty ones so I was turned off LOL. Mine I am obsessed with keeping clean, and I like the way he is built and of course his mane and tail are to die for
