Preferably ones that are proven to cross well on cow bred mares? This mare is a little long backed and could use a little more bone. She is straight as an arrow, feminine, and quiet minded. Opinions appreciated!! :)

I have a Judge Cash filly out of a cow bred mare that is not only extremely athletic but very smart and quick! I want another Judge Cash!

I wasn't sure about my Streakin Again filly at first, but now that I'm handling her more regularly I love her.  She's just a yearling, but I've been putting her on the walker for a few minutes a day. She lets me handle her feet, fly spray, bathe her, and dress a cut that she got on her leg all without help from anyone else.  She stands tied quietly and takes it all in.  That being said, she's no dead head and is quick as a cat on her feet.

Firewater Finale. He is Future Fortunes as well as several other incentives. I bred a cow bred mare to him that was more refined, and she had a foal that had a lot of substance, good bone and lots of muscle.

Famous Bugs are very user friendly. The foal I raised was super friendly and very stout. His momma is a big, solid girl though. I'm sure Jeff could tell you what he's producing when crossed on cowbred mares.

I haven't even looked at the FF list in such a long time that I have no idea who's currently enrolled. Those are just two off of the top of my head that are used friendly.

Jenbabe - I was looking at Firewater Finale for a Jet of Honor mare - does he throw a lot of size on his babies?

From personal experience for sons of Fire Water Flit I would go with Firewater Finale. For Frenchman's Guy sons I highly recommend Guys Piece Ofthe Pie http://bakerquarterhorses.org/guys-piece-ofthe-pie.html

I've raised 3 by him, and they've all had a lot of size. I've never kept one longer than a yearling, but do have a keeper this year, finally got a filly! Look at Schimke Ranch's website or Facebook page, Amy posts a lot of baby pictures and has some videos of older horses that she's running. His babies are very impressive.

I'm going to look at firewater finale for sure! I need this foal to be marketable if it happens to be a colt rather than a keeper filly. I like judge cash too. This mares babies have had great muscling once they mature but have been a touch slow maturing. Not interested in Frenchmans guys personally.

He does throw size. I have a 2yr old in training right now out of a 15.2 hand mare and I bet that boy grows up to be 15.3 or so. He's one of the bigger sons of FWF that I have seen. I think my colt is perfect!

Perks Firewater Flit. I had a really nice colt out of him. Ran 1D/2D almost as soon as I started hauling him. Very good minded, easy to ride, and talented. I would take another in a heartbeat. I've always wanted a Firewater Finale and a Streaking Ta Fame, but haven't been able to find one of those in my price range yet. I also love, love, love Red's Western Native, but they usually are on the smaller side.

Firewater Ta Fame.

One out of a cow/foundation bred mare won the slot race in AZ and qualified for the American. One out of Talents Dark Angel (1/2 cow bred mare) won the Ft. Smith derby this year and has won many other things, as well.

Both of the ones I have/had are very big. I bet one is close to 16 hands and the other is around 15.2. That being said they are both out of good size mares!

Everyone that has been around our stud and his babies has nothing but great things to say about them. Ashely Michels has one of the oldest that was just track broke this time last year and he has placed at both futurities she has ran him at this summer in MN. Most of his foals have gone to the track first-there is only 9 on the ground with 20 coming for 2016. Graded stakes winning son of Mr Jess Perry out of a stakes daughter of Takin On The Cash. We are really excited to see the babies coming next year.

I sent you a pm! Has anyone bred to Cs Flashlight? He appears to have good size and bone as well as the short back I'm looking for. Thanks for all the replies!

I have a CS Flashlight yearling out of a cowbred mare and I love him! Good bone and a nice stout boy. He also has a great disposition! He hasn't been gelded yet, he will be this fall, and he is very easy to handle and be around. I would love to have another!

He's pretty small actually, but is stout by his pictures. I haven't heard anything but good things about him. I just don't do greys, but love how he is bred.
