Really stupid question.....I went to register a 2015 foal online for the first time ever, and the website is telling me only the owner of the dam can register the foal???  Problem is that I AM the owner of the dam.  I even pulled up the AQHA records to make sure there wasn't an error.  What the heck?

Hmmm...I registered mine 2 years ago with no problems.  That doesn't sound right, maybe call AQHA and see if they have a problem with their system.

is the online account set up exactly like the dam registration papers or does it have both of you and hubbys names on it? or vice versa on the papers? does the account number match with your online account # for membership?

Please don't mark a colt a gelding unless he IS.  That's just one more bit of crap a buyer has to deal with when someone forgets to actually geld the colt.  It takes very little effort and no money to send papers in as a gelding when you actually do it.

AQHA actually called me first thing this morning. It was stupid. I joined right before I tried to do the registration. But rather then renew my membership from 2005 I put it in as new. Their system will automatically combine the old and the new but I didn't give it enough time. They said it should work when I try again and if not to call them. So it was an error on my part
