These are my options based off my local shops and price range. It's for a 3horse featherlight aluminum gn with small weekender. Trailer plate says 235-85-16F. One shop with Kelly tires claims he has 3horse featherlight a and uses 10ply because 12ply causes too much bounce.....

I use load range G 14 ply on my trailer, but it's heavier. On my weekender size trailer, I used load range E 10 ply for years and years and the only blowout I ever had was from picking up a nail that caused the tire to become under inflated.

Thanks I will see if I can find the axle size.
I know with our trailers, people can call with the last 5 digits of the VIN and we can look up the trailer and tell you axle size. You might try calling Universal Trailers in El Reno, OK which is where Featherlites are made.
