I know on the rules it said the late draw will be ran at the end of the pre-entry draw both days, but I guess my question is how late do you think the late draw will "start"? It has been years since I've been and I don't remember how late they are usually running or how they run it. I ask because I work fri until 6p and won't find out until fri morning when I'll run. Just trying to get a game plan... I don't really have someone to "cover" me at work but maybe my boss will let me scram early. I'm only about 30 mins from the fair grounds, so that helps.
Sorry for the stupid, I'm probably way over thinking it.

I would think you'd be fine.... I don't think late starts until pretty well into the evening. I always figure 50 horses an hour and then just assume 600 pre entries.. that's 12 hours.

I think you will have plenty of time. Seems like the late draw has run well in to the late of night. Guessing 9pm before the late draw starts but you could probably look at past results? Or shoot them an email or text.

You should be fine.. Late draw there usually doesnt start until pretty dang late. I was a late entry the first time I ran the Shootout and I remember running around 1 AM. You should also be able to look at the number of pre entries they have and know.. They will run 50 horses/hour and that estimate is always very accurate.
