I want to start the Panacur Powerpac Dewormer regimen and I have a question. 5 tubes come in the box. Each tube has enough dewormer to give up to a 2500 lb. horse. I've heard you are supposed to give a dosage every day for 5 days. Do you give the entire tube or do you give it according to the actual weight of your horse. Example 1250 lbs.?

To finish the power pack
10 days after Panacur give a dose of ivermectin ..
and then 20 days after ivermectin give a dose of Quest ..
Panacur will only put round worms to sleep and horse expels them in manure
Ivermectin kills bots and hair worms and is slow on killing round worms and the eggs
Quest cleans up all types of worms that might be immune to both of the above and kills tape worms ....
Worming good for the next 90 days ...
You could have saved money and just used the Quest which is good for 90 days and is a very good kill type wormer ...

What i did was give just a little over his weight, and then gave the remainder on the sixth day so i got an extra day. The lady who i board with told me to do that and i looked at like she was genius!
