A friend of mine got bucked off pretty bad at a jackpot yesterday. Luckily a lot of friends were there too, and while she was taken to the ER, her horse had a ride home.
This made me wonder, what happens if you go to a race a few hours away from home and nobody there will know you? The cell phone with the main contact infos is usually in the truck – nobody will know which rig is yours unless you have and assigned plug-in. Nobody will know who to call for you or what to do with your horse(s). I think from now on I will include all my important info on the entry form for those races where nobody will know me. Maybe this should be standard info on all entry forms?
Has anyone ever had a bad wreck away from home and was all alone?
