Making a trip to IBRA Nationals in October. I want to get boots for my mare in the trailer and while being stalled. I have a dealer pushing me into the Easy Boot Rx. Just wondering what would be my best option? Thanks ahead of time!
The soft rides are just that... alot softer then the easyboot RX... I just bought a pair and while they do the job the soft rides I had to try where a whole new ball game... alot of give but a good boot
I have the Easy Boots, and I like them. I've had to turn mine out in the boots for days at a time. They hold up well. Here's a thought. Buy a couple of cheap memory foam pads for the trailer. You can even put them in your stall when you get there.

I just got the Easyboot Clouds after having a full set of Soft Rides that were getting pretty used. I am liking what I am seeing so far with the Clouds. They are a lot lighter than Soft Rides, the foam pad is thick and is supposed to shape to the foot. I haven't had them on for longer than 30 mins yet though. The price ($75/boot) was what sold me. I am curious to see what the longevity is. The Clouds seem to be more secure and not as "clunky" as the SR.
I have soft rides and love them.. But you can also get a soft ride in your trailer. You can get it at lowes or home depot I think.. Its a cushion that goes between your matt on the floor and then the trailer floor. Its like walking on a pillow. Rolling M trailers can do it for a little under $100 a stall
The Soft Rides were a Godsend when my horse had a hellacious abscess. I've not used either for trailering though. Does anyone know if they both fit over shoes?

Do you know what it is called? The mat you get at Lowes or Home Depot?
Soft Rides hands down. The easy boots don't have the frog stimulator thing in them like the soft rides do. This little triangle makes a world of difference!! Not only do they provide a really cushy ride for the foot but they keep circulation flowing through the entire leg including the foot.
I know from experience. My gelding stocks up while stalled. With the Soft Rides, his legs are tight. Without them, he stocks up in a few hours.
They're definitely worth the extra investment in my opinion.

How does this hold up to horses peeing in the trailer?
