| We got this kitten, He was black, now hes "blue roan" LOL even has the solid face and bottom legs lol
Ive never had a cat change color, is this typical of black cats? Will he keep getting white (gray??) or go back black, or stay as is?

| Have had a lot of black cats. They were just as black when they died as when they were born. There are different types of gray cats. That one is gray. |

Location: SE Louisiana | Would not be surprised to learn he has some Blue Persian in his background. He sure looks it. My mom's folks had one for years when I was growing up. His name was Dusty and when he got old he did turn a dusty grey.

His background is a mystery. I got him in sorry shape, I guess his mom abandoned him and they were feeding him skin milk. I really was not sure hed make it, he couldent hardly hold his head up and had awful watery poop.
But we nursed him back to health, and he's he!! on wheels now!
He was all black other than a white spot on his tummy and then started to get all these white hairs a couple weeks ago |

Lucifer.
My kids named him after the black cat in Cinderella ..... I tried to encourage a different name ... but it didn't work. LoL
I love when my 3 year old tells random people that talk to us that Lucifer is her best friend. |

| I had a kitten the same color as yours! He grew up to be a smoky grey, or "Blue Roan" color, the black ones are usually black the day they're born. Sure is a cutie! :) |

Hes got a tail he just tucks it in to sleep. Ill try to get more pictires of him on here. :-)
