Since I have decided to postpone my riding due to wildfires and smoke in my area, I am doing a major tack clean up! I just washed and scrubbed two of my THE CORRECTOR pads and some of my wool cinches and felt cinches. I thought the pressure washer would help loosen and remove alot of the stuck on hair, but they still have a lot of hair stuck on them. What are some tricks to get the hair off of the pads and cinches? Also does anyone know approximately how long it should take for the pads to dry hanging out side?

I brush/scrub mine with a rubber curry comb while washing them.
just depends on how hot it is how long they take to dry. if they are hanging the edges of mine are usually still dripping water when the middle is dry.

I scrubbed mine with a rubber curry and mild soap and still couldn't get all the hair off. One of my pads I let a friend barrow to use on her grey horse....worst mistake ever! lol WHITE hair NEVER comes off!!!!! I had them laid out flat on my picnic table yesterday and they were still super wet this morning so I hung them up in the direct sun over the gazebo. I was hoping they would be dry at the latest by tomorrow. We had been having 108 days and as soon as I was everything it went back down in the 90s

when I wash my saddle pads and cinches it takes about 2 days- the day you wash the middle will probably be dry (I am in Southern Ca where it is usually always hot and dry) and the edges of them will be wet still. By the end of the 2nd day, the whole thing is usually dry. And I have only used a curry comb or a stiffer horse/pig hair bristle brush to try to get the old hair out. I have a buckskin and her hair NEVER comes all the way out, so I have resigned myself to just having to deal with it.
