My niece is fixin' to have a spinal tap done because this morning she had no feeling in her legs. She is 15. Please could you say a little prayer for her? Thanks.
Your prayers must be working- she has some feeling at the top of her thighs and her reflexes are better. They ruled out any brain infection and are pretty sure it is not bacterial. Again, Thank you so much!
Well good news. It's psychological, according to the neurologist. It is not uncommon for teenage girls to internalize extreme stress and then it manifests in the same way it did in my niece. Her reflexes are good and she has feeling down to get knees and is walking with help. She really thinks this real so her parents have to encourage her to walk and were told to not tell her at this time that it's in her head. Her parents are in the middle of a messy divorce so her mom is looking into counseling to help her. I want to thank everyone for their prayers, her mother and I were very comforted by the compassion and prayers sent our way. Once again BHW makes a positive difference in its BB's lives!
