I want the good, the bad, and the ugly please. These seem like they would be great in the long run vs rubber mats due to the drainage. Plus they actually priced out cheaper than mats from Tractor Supply. So are the Stall Savers/Stall Skins a good investment??

I had the stall skins in the past and LOVED them. My stall stayed much more dry than other stalls that had mats. I used Cedar rest shavings instead of regular shavings and they dry out.

That's great to know as wet is a constant battle with my two mares. Did you have any issues with them tearing or from horses pawing? Both mine paw at feeding time and one is a big time stall walker

I never had issues. My horse had a 12x12 stall and then a 12x24 run. I did stall skins in both and kept it bedded with at least 5" of cedar rest bedding. It helped with fly control etc. After it rained, I would fluff the cedar rest and let it dry. A LOT less waste of bedding than shavings.
