Location: Kansas and loving it | Love her! I have gone the last 4 years and I love all the riding, some waiting but not much. You couldn't pay me to go to any other clinician. |

| I would highly recommend her clinics. She is big on horsemanship, and I think we could all use more of that! Very positive and encouraging. My first experience with her was over 8 years ago when she was helping Charmayne. I was able to go to a clinic 3 years ago, and really enjoyed it. I'd love to go to another, but it seems like her clinics fill up fast! I recently saw they are trying a new format where there are 3 different levels for the clinics. You have to start out at level 1 before you can attend level 2, then the same for level 3. I'm excited about that, and can't wait to be able to go to another. |

Location: Red Raiderland | I went to Charmayne's clinic many years ago Kristen was helping her out. She taught great horsemanship and is no nonsense. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. I wish she still lived down in Texas. |

Location: North Dakota | I went to one of her clinics this spring. VERY helpful . Great clinic. I also feel like you get one-on-one attention.
What she did for the clinic I was at, on the second day, there was alot of sitting around and it seemed to drag on BUT Kristen rode each and every horse at the clinic herself. I feel this gave her great insight on exactly what your horse needs and what the rider needs to do to help the horse. It took all day to do this, of course, but it was great to have her ride MY horse and then coach me on my horse, because it gave her a good understanding of what he needs.
I would definately go again. Very good clinic. |

Location: Ft Worth TX | I have a girl who bought a mare frm us that went to her clinic a couple times and i saw AMAZING improvement from the rider and horse- I personally have never been but often suggest her after seeing the difference she made for her. If you watched a "before" and "after" video you would see where im so impressed.... |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | It's been 8 years since I last attended a CJ/Kristin Weaver Brown Clinic, and of all the clinicians, she would probably be the one I'd most like to spend time with right now. She is a real clinician who can be just as accomplished in barrel racing, dressage, and reining. She makes the connections and demonstrates the commonality between all disciplines, emphasizing the importance of fundamental horsemanship skills. The first thing you notice is her energy and attitude that rubs off on you.....it's infectious. Then she takes time talking about gaits, and how important it is to be able to actually "feel" where the horse's feet are at any point in time, and at any gait. From there she will teach you why it's important to be able to properly post on the diagonal, and extend that fundamental to training and actual barrel racing. Learning that fundamental "feel" or skill will enable you to feel that inside hind leg as you "power" out of a turn. She taught us how using our upper, inner thighs is so important....not just lower legs and spurs, flailing all over the place. "Rise and fall with the leg on the wall" was what taught me the importance of feeling where my horse's feet (front and back) are at any point in time, regardless of the gait. It's one thing to do a posting trot in the saddle, but she made us do posting trots for like a half hour bareback. Just doing that once taught me the importance of really using my thighs, and man they were burning by the time we were finished. We laughed a lot at each other, but it was both fun and hard. She and CJ made a terrific team. |

Location: Got Lobsta? | I've been to quite a few of her clinics and learn something every time! I am NOT good at all at retaining things and for some reason this year everything clicked! She is so down to earth and what I saw at the clinics is anyone can ride behind her. She encourages everyone and treats you like you are the only student there! Yes there is some waiting as she works with other people, but sitting and listening to her talking to them, you learn even more! Run don't walk to sign up! |

I was so excited to hear she was coming to NC... I hate I don't have a horse far enough along to ride in it, but I definitely want to go watch!!!!! Hope they get enough people signed up to have it!!!! |

There are quite a few green riders/horses that go there. She works mostly on horsemanship and you may find it valuable to participate, and if not, yes go watch, bring a notepad! LOL! |
