Location: Ok | It is with a heavy heart and great sadness that we write this post this morning. Eye Soar, who we've all come to love and know as simply 'Eye' has gone on to greener pastures. We turned the lights out and said goodnight to the barn horses at 11 pm on Friday August 7th and Eye was happy in his pen. We found him early Saturday morning on August 8th deceased. There was no sign of apparent struggle, Eye was in perfect health. Eye was buried on the farm under a very large tree with another farm cornerstone that we lost late in 2014. Eye was still very young and in the ideal life should have had easily another 10 years of standing in him before retirement. He had a great quality of life and was treated like a 'horse' but we all knew and respected just how special he was. With very limited foal crops his babies have gone above and beyond what we could have hoped or dreamed for. It is really looking like 2015-2016 will be 'the year' that solidifies his rightful spot on the list of great arena stallions. This makes losing him that much harder. Eye was blessed enough to get out of his stall every day. He enjoyed time on the walker, and turned out soaking up the sunshine. And he LOVED his treats and the ladies (the human ladies lol). He was always quick to remind you of his presence. He was also loved by a very special little girl. A little girl not an eighth of his size who could ride him around bareback with a halter among other horses and lead him around like an over sized dog. He was not just another horse. He was a friend. A companion. A family member. I think this will always be one of those things that we will never understand but we just have to give it to God and know that He knows best and that Eye was never ours to begin with. He gave him to us to look after and to share with the world and that we did. This is certainly a turning of a page for us. He will forever be missed and never forgotten. We ask only for your prayers, and respect as we go through these tough times. To all of our breeders we say THANK YOU. To all of those who are blessed enough to have one of his offspring, we hope you appreciate what you have. They are anything but average. He passed his heart and his mind on to his foals. They all think they are big dogs. At times this can be annoying. But it is a trait we've grown to love and expect over the years. They are always reminding us to slow down and enjoy the silly things in life. We will heal. And God will keep moving us forward. We give a very heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you. We will keep this page going as a tribute but also as a place for those who have Eye babies to come and to gather and to talk. And to Eye, we will never be able to duplicate you and we say thank you for the memories and for those you've left behind. May your heart and ability live on through your sons and your daughters and those who loved you the most. -WCF https://www.facebook.com/EyeSoarInfo?fref=nf |

Location: Ok | Thanks again to all of you. Your prayers are the most powerful thing. It is funny how you don't have to know someone perosnally for them to touch your lives. I promise you we can feel them and they are so appreciated. Thanks again. And God bless every single one of you!
