Recently had my horse diagnosed with this. It seems to be from a (mysterious) old injury. Has anyone had experience with this?

I have dealt with arthitic changes in hocks but this is all new to me... Injected it and started her on Cosequin ASU plus but a little concerned about what the long term diagnosis will be. She is extremely sensitive and thin skinned which is why I went the feed through supplement route. She is 8.

You should post this on the forum at www.secondvet.com.  It would personally really enjoy reading his reply, as I recently sold a horse that was just a riding horse that was diagnosed by the new owners chiro with a previous spinal injury.  I always thought he traveled strange, but he was just my mom's tooling around on horse and he never seemed sore or lame.

I hope you'll post this question on the SecondVet forum so we can all learn from your situation!

Thanks I made a post there. Hopefully some people have had similar experiences and can share what they have learned.
