Ok I'm having time with this in my life right now. I work as a CNA and I would Monday-Friday and every other weekend and every other Monday and Wednesday 2:45pm-10:45pm. I'm in college full time on the Mondays and Wednesdays I'm off. On the weekends I ride but it's maybe and hour a day and i don't think that's enough to keep my mate in shape

If you have access to a round pen, and your horse knows what she's doing and an just needs to stay legged up use it. Do early morning/ or late night lunges if you have lights. If not, hooking some up does not cost much. Or if you have a barn buddy, pay them to lunge her. A lot of people say round penning is a lazy mans way to exercise a horse but if time is limited I definitely use it! And would rather a horse that's in some sorta shape than run one that isn't.

Or we use the trail system here. There is lots of varying terrain, one day we walk up and down hills, the next we long trot out and back for 20 minutes, the next day we lope circles around bushes, etc.
