| We have a C & C 4 horse with mangers, rear tack, drops on both sides, a very large 6 ft. mid tack and a smaller separate straight wall 2 ft. carpeted dressing room with a boot box. It was a custom designed trailer for a cutting amateur and was set up kind of like a trainers trailer ....it is a very nice trailer and we love it.
My question is if you think it will hurt the resale value of it if we have a professional LQ go in the 2 ft dressing room and create a little mini lQ....nothing big or overwhelming...soft touch walls, bed, TV mount, A/C, fridge, sink, microwave. Just a quick place to wash your hands, grab a drink, sandwich, or lay down for a couple of hours if the show is long...
We plan on keeping it but if our kid (who is only two) wants to ride and rodeo we will move to a real LQ then so we want this to still be marketable.

| I would guess it would raise the resale instead of hurting it if you are adding a LQ. |

| well..we thought that but then a girl that we know is a sales rep for a trailer place said it would hurt resale since it was more of a trainers trailer and they would want the storage. I just thought that adding that small amount would be handy as a trainer of any disciple since you never have time to eat or drink anything and it would be easy to grab something from the trailer.

My daughters had a 4star dealership in California, and sold 25 trailers to people who were not trainers for every one that they sold to a trainer. |

But if you get enjoyment out of the money you spend that is all good too. You could just throw a mattress up in the GN. some throw rugs on the floor, a dorm room fridge with a microwave on it and have some put in AC and electic for a lot less. and it would all be removeable shy of the AC and electric when you want to sell it. Wouldn't be as nice for you but a LOT cheaper. |

My opinion is to get the job done professionally, too many people " try" and do a job themselves to " save" money instead of saving ,they lose it in the end if it is done poorly. When I was trailer shopping,I only looked at C and C,elite, platinum and bloomer. I saw some with very poor l.q. Homemade jobs. Wouldn't take a lot to put something nice in there and you'd have no problem reselling down the road! It sounds like a great trailer! |

| It would be done professionally...and in such a way to still appeal to a normal person I hope...we love the C & C brand..I heard it was discontinued now..is this true?

| The only issue with relsale is loans... if your trailer is more than 10 years old without living quarters its super hard to finance. And it goes by the actual stock number, not any changes an owner has made. So for example, if you have a 2001 trailer lets say maybe 12k and you add living quarters now making it work 15-16k... you have a more expensive trailer that is harder to finance.
Just something to think about :) |

Location: Bandera, TX | A friend of mine has a trainer's trailer and one half has AC, bed, storage and TV. I love that trailer - it would be perfect for what I need. I checked with Bloomer, as that's who made my friend's and they were quoting me $40K to get one.
I think finishing it out would be great. |
