As an extra saddle to have. Same condition, age and price. Go!

I don't think you can go wrong with either.

Which will fit your horses the best ?

I have never rode in a MJ but love my older Camarillo.  It is a 93 model, have tired the newer ones and don't like them.

The MJ usually have forward hung stirrups the courts do not.  So that is something to keep in mind.

I know there are some diehard followers of MJ saddles, but I am not one. I purchased a used Ultimate a few years back. Loved the look. Fit the horses I used it on. BUT.....it hurt me so badly. The area where the seat transitions into the jockeys was rock hard and hurt my pelvic bones like crazy. At first I thought it was the length of my stirrups. Long or short, still I experienced pain. Then, I thought it was a problem with the saddle. Had it checked out. Nothing out of place. No other saddles have ever hurt me like that saddle did. I sold the thing and have never looked back. Hated it. I tried to love it becaue I liked the look of it. I just couldn't take it.

^^^^^ like the last poster said! I used to ride in an old josey, it was like riding a cinder block. The seat was so hard!
Rode in an old Camarillo at the trainers sooo comfy!!! I would not pass on an older Camarillo.
Althought i do ride in a newer josey but I would not buy an older one.

With that said If I had to choose between older model saddles:
Camarillo all the way!

I love my Court's Camarillo, wish I had a couple more.  I don't know what year model or anything, I just know I love IT!!!
