i have a horse with a lower shoulder on one side. I got him a crown c but I'm not sure what pad to use with it because of his lower shoulder. I tried the classic equine shims and it didn't help. He also has a little loss of muscle mass behind his shoulders. I thought maybe a biofit pad but I think it would still be uneven because the pockets are on both sides. Right now I have a 7/8 five star I'm using. When I ride it feels off to the right so I need to get it fixed. Opinions?

I wonder if it would be worth having a pad custom made for him that is thicker on one side?
Or maybe a correcTor pad and you can put the shims on one side and not the other? I used a corrector when I had a saddle that was too wide for my mare. The correcTor worked and made a huge difference. I was eventually able to buy another saddle that fit and I sold the CorrecTor and the wide saddle. The saddle I bought that fit happens to be a Crown C. I have a Tod Slone Pad and a Slash W pad. THe slash W is a bit thicker of the two. With my Crown C I use the thinner Tod Slone on the stockier, wider , cow bred mare and I use the thicker Slash W on my thinner, race bred mare.
