Welcome to the area. I'm a bit north of you and have been to most of the ones mentioned already. The events page up above and ebarrelracing.com are great sources also. It's a rare week that there isn't somewhere to run.

http://tinysproductions.com/ great people and good races. A majority of Tiny's races are at Willis, the furthest one I think is New Caney. There's almost always something going on around here within an hour or so. STBRA runs a little further south/southeast and I think they have quite a few of their races in Bryan/College Station area (I could be mistaken, check their webpage), depending on how far you want to travel. And check the cowboy churches in the area, they will sometimes have buckle or saddle series going on -
Check out the following FB pages also -
Sept. 19 - there's an open benefit race in Willis,TX called Rack It Up for Sherri.
Oct. 17 - 2nd annual Jeanine McMinn Memorial race - Conroe, TX at the fairgrounds.
Off the top of my head, that's all I got for now. LOL Welcome to the area!!

There are some big races at the Twin Lakes Arena in Fairfield. There are also some series barrel races around Fairfield. It is a little far for me but I see them advertised all the time. Have a few friends that have been to Twin Lakes and really enjoyed them.

Welcome to town! Tinys is a great association, and like others have said they run in willis a lot which should take you less than 20 minutes to get to. It is just outside NW.
