So I have been thinking recently about nerve pain and the muscle tightness that goes with it. I had a surgery and have nerve pain from it, when my muscles are tight and sore a massage or "
rolling" the knots out with a rolling pin provide a significant amount of relief. With that being said- has anyone had experience with massage therapy help post exercise with a horse that has EPM? Assuming that the muscles may be tighter because of the afflicted nerves, etc. Is there any exercises (massage wise) on him that could help? or stretching? its in his hind end

I have done massage on my horse that had EPM and while I do think the massage helped, I do not think that massage helped the EPM. Lifewave patches do help. My horse would not have been able to compete at the APHA world show without them.
