I am looking for a guy my dad purchased a horse off back in the late 90's. The horse is branded on his left hip with a straight line and underneath is a broken arrow. I was told the guys name we purchased him from was David Fischer. Newt was used as our barrel/pole/team and tie down roping horse. As far as I know he was not registered and if he was my dad cant find his papers. Just looking to see if i can track down his original owners. Anyone from Oregon/Washington area familiar with that name or brand? I do have photos of the brand, but no idea how to post them? Thanks!!
If you're on facebook, friend Phyllis Jess. She's got an extensive record of brands and who they are registered to. You can also go to the Oregon, Washington, etc... brand inspector sites and look at brands to see if you can find the one you're looking for.
