So I know a lot of you give pentosan in the muscle, but I just bought 50 mL from my vet and the label says to give it IV. I always thought it was given in the muscle but the label says IV. He called the pharmacy that compounds it (which is someplace in Weatherford) and they also said to give it IV. I'm just a little nervous now. Feedback?
So it looks like I have pentosan with condroitin and glucosamine and my bottle and it says to give it IV and the vet administered it for me and is willing to come out for free every time so I guess that's good. next time I'm getting one that goes in the muscle!!! So worried that my horse will die with my own doing.
