Kylee Scribner on First Fire Frost (Sire: Firewater Frost) once again took home the top spot at the Moonshine Run in Glen Rose, TX Sunday with the only one to run in the 14's the entire weekend for a another $854. She also took home the Youth 1D win, as well the average for both the Open and Youth.

Thanks guys for all those great compliments! It is always fun when they do well! Destiny has been on vacation for the last three months while Stormy and I were gone, so it was great to get back on him.
I want to give a shout out to the producers and the tractor drivers at the race this weekend. The expo was the one putting on the barrel race and unfortunately the ground was terrible by the time we ran on Friday night. Destiny nearly went down at the first and third barrel and even Stormy wouldn't fire on it. I spoke with one of the tractor drivers before I entered on Saturday and he assured me that they were doing all they could to get things fixed and keep it fair though out the entire race. They even had a third party come in to help assess the ground conditions and put a plan together to get it fixed. Well I can say that they lived up to their word and the ground was good and fair through the entire day on Saturday. I think that we need to recognize these guys when they put forth that extra effort. So kudos to them for stepping up and getting it done!
I have another idea too... I think that we need a tip jar at the sign-up table for the tractor drivers. Maybe that would give some extra incentive to get it right!
