I have a lady wanting to trade me her saddlesmith barrel saddle for my jim taylor roping saddle. I don't know alot about the Saddlesmith saddles. How do I read the serial numbers? This is what is on the keeper 21523.6....it looks like it is good quality, I just have never owned one. What do they usually sell for?

I had this one in the early 90's-the pic looks about the same but who knows how/where they are manufactured now-I loved the saddle-this had the 3-way rigging which was so new at that time-I used it A LOT and when we grew out of it I sold it for $550 within the last 2 years- It fit a horse pretty good-whether they had wide flat back or high withers I don't think it ever made any of them sore....not sure about the seriel numbers though.

I'm pretty sure the one I am looking at is a 90's or so as well. looks a lot nicer built then some of the new ones they are offering.
