The horses that were seized in the Black Forrest hording case have been transferred to a horse rescue in Southeastern Colorado.
The rescue has been posting photos of them--they look AWESOME! Including Dual Peppy--and a bunch of his offspring!

Are they gonna end up breeding him again or did the rescue geld him? Why didn't the lady just continue to breed him? She could have made money that way.

According to a statement from the manager at this rescue, they are not planning to geld him given his age and health concerns. They will be trying to adopt out the horses, but not sure if they will let them go with someone who is going to breed him or not.
Sounds like the lady was a bit of a nut case--so no telling why she didn't breed him more. She did have several offspring of his.

Bluerose Ranch got the horses just within the past couple of weeks they did not do the rehab. Harmony Equine center did. Blue rose is in charge of the adoption process only. If you want to follow the whole story go Face book page JUSTICE FOR DUAL PEPPY. they have done an excellent job on reporting everything about the case.

He was such a good stallion makes me sad he ended up in those hands. Someone would want to end up breeding him. I think the only way that no one would be able to breed him. Is either keep him, geld him and or adopted him out to someone with a no breeding contract or something.

Yes, I should have been more clear--they didn't do the rehab. I hadn't seen the Justice for Dual Peppy page--but saw their transfer here in the Denver Post and thought it was so cool they were doing so well.
