Location: MD		I read somewhere that double j saddles have too much rock? What saddles tend to be flatter?

Location: Somewhere in N.C.		Double J actually has a 35 degree (extra wide) tree.  I just got my a couple of months ago. 
All of my horses are flatbacked with no withers.   I have tried every saddle out there and this one by far fits my horse better than any other.   I especially like the close contact feal it has.   I hope to order another soon.   good luck.    Lisa New was the dealer who ordered mine.
