I picked up the red mare a about a month ago, she was "barrel broke" but I knew from riding her that she was athletic and had the ability to be much better. She's a super nice mover and loves to work. She's 7, lots of foundation breeding from three bars/triple chick/Leo/ and Hollywood dunit, her dam was thoroughbred

The palomino I just picked up last weekend, she's super super quick on her feet and catty. She's smooth and very light and responsive. I haven't started her on barrels yet, doing some basics first - lateral movements, following her nose in circles etc. she has done some roping and only had about 60 days of professional riding. She needs a little weight and muscling still but I think she will make a super nice horse.
She is also a Hollywood dunit/war Leo on top and two eyed Jack/mr baron red on bottom - all cow and performance

So what do you guys think?

I'm not an expert on conformation.... They are both pretty!! I like mares and I like cow bred horses! Good luck!

Thank you I have always liked a little cow with a little run because I like a push style horse plus they're very worky and turny. I have found that my foundation horses are a lot hardeier as well, much better feet & easier keepers

Well if they're well bred and papered for one, you can always sell as a brood mare of they get injured or go lame!

Honestly I'd want a bit better pictures to say much. They don't look bad but you want straight on profile pics with good light to judge with and standing square.

Thanks everyone, I know, not great conformation pictures, she's not butt high I wonder if it's how she's standing? I'll take a more level pic today! She has filled out more since then maybe that makes a difference I'll try to get better ones!!!

I have high hopes for these two, red mare is already running middle of 3D in central Florida with 250 runners last weekend just cruising so I'm happy!

This is when I first got her she has gained quite a bit of weight/muscle since then, maybe her either is a little higher but still don't have good pics, she rides nice either way!

I personally like their long forearm short cannon, and gaskin on the palomino, but she is a little straight in the hocks ?
