I've seen several people have these lately and I love to make or purchase one but don't know where to start! They looks like a thick material or tarp that covers the side of the trailer with holes cut for the tie loops. This prevents any scratching, biting, and snot from the horses getting on the skin. Anyone have one or even know what I'm talking about? Thanks in advanced!!
eta I have a pic of one but can't attach it from my phone

There is a competitor in CTR that had something she made that worked very well to cover the side/fender of her trailer. It was well designed! I'll see if I can dig up the pictures. Other than that...here is one I found from Australia. http://www.fourlegsequestrian.com/product-information.html
Scroll down to "float accessories"...apparently that's what trailers/rigs are called there. They have a magnetic one. Probably not workable for our modern aluminum huh? But...it's all I found so far.
We have ordered a new trailer with extruded slats on the horse part so...that should help. but I still want to protect the trailer.

Ok...I found the picture and the description from the lady that made it:
"The material is commercial vinyl, the kind used for hay bale bags and upholstery. I buy it at Seattle Fabrics and no I don't have a pattern. I usually measure the trailers and hand draw it from there. It's attached to the trailer with snaps that you have to screw or rivet to your trailer"
I don't think she makes these anymore. I'd rather not put rivets in the side of the new trailer either...but it gives me ideas anyway.

Why not have it skinned with a vinyl liner? Done right, you can't even tell its on there. When it starts getting scratches you just have it peeled and a new one put on it.

I'd be very afraid of attaching something to the skin of my new trailer... I will try attach some pictures of the ones I've seen that seem very simple!
