| I was skeptical at first, I had it done on myself a few years ago for a shoulder ailment, and I didn't notice any difference, plus I wondered if the tape would just pull the hair of the horse and therefore not affect the skin, fascia and muscles beneath. BUT I just read a peer-reviewed journal study yesterday that did demonstrate benefits- I was trying to find the study to share it here, but I can't right now, I can't remember which of my therapy groups on FB posted it- anyway, I believe it is definitely something to consider- I know I am going to look into it a little more. Sally Swift did some work similiar to the kinesiology tape at least 30 years ago- I don't think kinesiology tape was around back then, so she just used long rolls of gauze- I'll try to find a pic of it- anyway, seems like there has been some thought put into this one- worth trying anyway! :) |
