Does anyone know how to clean no turn bell boots. I have the ones without the plastic and they get so dirty. I've cleaned them with water and a good brush but don't know of any other ways to clean them.

I have the normal solid color classic equines and I usually scrub them with dawn and a tooth brush in hot water. Even though they're turquoise they don't really have any permanent staining (despite being covered in mud many a time).
I have some PC ones that are just the felt, and I only used them when we run because they tear up too easy to do workouts in (protect them, don't get me wrong, but my horse just is hard on her bells). I just use horse shampoo and a brush and scrub them after every run. Now I have to use x-large bells on her, so we are in sparkly black ones, those are hard shell and don't show as bad as our Pacific blue ones did.

I spray the excess dirt off and put them in the washing machine with Tide and a little bit of Borax. Only ones I have problems with are my white ones. For them I use a little bleach.
i take all my boots and saddle pads to the local car wash and use the pressure washer on them. you'd be amazed what crap and dirt you can blast away with a pressure washer.
