Location: White Mountains of AZ | So as some of you know, my barrel horse Hank loves to hurt himself. His last barrel race was in March 2015 and before that, at least a year. Well he's been doing really good so I was going to enter him in the upcoming race this Saturday. I know in March when I ran him, I didn't do any time onlys and he rocked! This is going to be a differnt arena, one that he's been in since he was 2. Couple months ago, I was practicing drill on him ( I'm on the rodeo drill team ), and for some reason he would not walk, stand, run next to the bucking shoots. That happened for two practices. The last couple practices he has been totally fine with them. So question is, do y'all think I should do a time only on him or just go in and make a run?

| I'd make a run, if it was me! If I made a smokin run and just timed/exhibition I would be kicking myself for not entering him. I had my first run back a couple weeks ago, after a 12 month break from injury and we placed in the 1d! You might surprise yourself. Good Luck :) |

Well this was it. A little bobble at the 2cd, think it was the people standing behind the chutes. But I was pretty happy.
