| I have a nice daughter of Splash Bac, out of a mare sired by Dash For Cash. She's made well and has won some. I'm not done running her but some day I'd like to get a baby from her.
She's smaller than you'd expect for her breeding -14.2 - but that's not a problem to me. Her back is a touch long is all I can fault her for. Good feet, clean legs after years of competing, just a touch hot but still quiet and well mannered. She is a free runner deluxe for me, was push style with previous riders. Lots and lots of speed and a barrel of heart. I'd like to find a good cross who puts a lot of turn on one. I could probably do well to keep it under $5k but I have plenty of time to save since we are still running.
What do you all think? |

| I'd really hesitate to go Firewater Flit with her, just because they run hotter (in my experience) and I'd like something a little less hot. |

Just sell her to me! I have always wanted a daughter.
I think from your explaination of her I would go with FG or a son of his. From my personal experience I would go with Guys Piece Ofthe Pie. He is VERY setty, but has the speed too from his dam's side, Fleeting Pie by Pie In The Sky. He is 15.3 and excellent bone. Good black feet and a great disposition. I just adore him and his owners are some of the nicest people in the world. He is a futurity and 1D money earner and sire of a futurity money earner from his first colt crop. He stands for $1000 and is Future Fortunes.
She's nice! I'm not selling her right now though!
I like his color and conformation. Does he have babies on the ground? I have zero experience with FG get. |

| Something with Frenchmans guy. First Down French seems to be a good cross of quickness and plentyyy of rate and turn. |

Yes he does. His oldest ran at a few northern futurities and picked up some checks in the rounds. I'm not sure if he was 4 or 5. His babies right off the mare averaged $3600 this yr so that is a pretty good return on a $1000 stud fee. I bred all 4 of my mares to him. Here is his website with a few pics of the babies. http://bakerquarterhorses.org/prospects-for-sale.html |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | A horse with as much cow, rate and turn as you can find. I suggest a son of FG. Maybe A Smooth Guy. I have a friend with a Splash Bac daughter and she had NO rate whatsoever Could run a lot, but no turn. They don't have her anymore.

I can see that happening. Mine won't rate or turn for me if I try to hold her back. She's not a lope-thru/time only girl. But if I let her run she can really turn. A little scary lol! |

| I've never met a hot FWF.... and the place I work stands a son with lots of babies. haha I would stay away from the A Smooth Guy if it's for resale, 5 panels are getting more important to buyers and if it can't test clean (which A Smooth Guy isn't), that can scare a lot of people away.
I would honestly go Firewater Finale on her, he has a great cross of smarts on the top and speed on the bottom. |

Location: Phoenix | Biankus bred horses have alot of turn--but they are a little smaller I think. They have shorter backs but won't bring alot of height if I'm remembering correctly. |

| Hmmmm... There's a son of FG out of a Biankus daughter here locally who is built really nice. He's got his first crop on the ground, by the time I'm ready to breed her they may be starting.
And I will not only be 5 panel testing her prior to breeding, I would never consider breeding to a stud who wasn't N/N across the board. |

Location: TX | Shawne Bug Leo will add rate and a sensible mind. He has a tendency to calm down some hotter mares. His colts sell extremely well out of good mares and 16 out of 17 of his babies that have been reported competing have ALL BEEN either 1D or 2D money earners! |

Location: Georgia | I'm gonna have to add another vote for First Down French. I bred my mare to him in 2013. She sounds very similar to yours - 14.3, longer in the back, and a running fool with not so much rate. I spent many hours researching trying to find the right cross and finally decided to go with FDF. I could not be happier with the filly they produced. She is smart, willing and has a super cool personality. Plus Katie, the owner of FDF, is great to work with. We were shipping across the country (CA to GA) and had a bit of a mishap with FedEx. She was great throughout the whole ordeal. And I will say that his little swimmers ship great! My vet was super impressed. |

I think he would be a nice cross on her. She's out of a Dash For Cash daughter. Between her two grand sires Beduino and Dash For Cash it's hard to find something I like that isn't going to be too close to those two. |

| I have a Fiestas Gotta Gun yearling that is about as laid back as they come. Nothing phases her at all. I wished I could get a picture of my phone I would post it. She is NO LITTLE thing either! She is out of a daughter of PITS/Shawnee Bug. |
