Just wanted to know if anyone has ever or has had a Siamese cat. It seems that I got adopted by one the other evening. A kitten, Siamese with blue eyes. I had one briefly a long time ago but have kind of forgotten how they are to get along with. I do remember them being very, very talkative.

I had one that my grandmother and I raise as a kitten. She was cross eyed, would bump into things every once in awhile. She was the kind of cat that enjoyed her own space, unless she wanted attention...then she was annoying lol.

She ended up passing away last year. She was 8-9 years old.

We had one growing up and my parents have one now. Great cats, lots of personality, and yes, very talkative.

mine is 1.5 yrs and i wake up to her nursing on the blanket next to me. she lets me pick her up and love her when she is in the mood otherwise i can't catch her. if my hubby touches her she hisses and bites and scratches him. it hurts his feelings that she loves me and will only play with him and get really mean if he tries to love on her.

My Winston is 3, I happened upon an "it" throwing him in the trash.  "It" raised manx and he was born with a tail, there was a raw ring around his tail where I know the "it" tried to rubberband it to try and make it fall off and he was very sick.  I bottle raised him, he thinks I am his mommy :).  Here is a cute video when he was lttle- you can see the ring on his tail from the rubberband.

I've had 2. One not too long before he got hit by a car. The one I have now is around 9. My dad resued her as a kitten from the back of a animal control truck. He asked the guy if he could have her and he said we could because he would have been put down anyway. She is VERY opinionated. This is her house she just allows us to live in it. She also HATES other cats. I brought home a kitten once and she killed it. I brought one home a few weeks ago and she hasn't tried to kill it but has made it very clear she does not appreciate it being here. We have chihuahuas and she hates them too but they've learned to tolerate each other. She wants attention when and only when she wants it when she doesn't she make it very obvious. She's real bad about leaving us "presents" right outside our door. Usually a half eaten rat or frog. She also killed and "gifted" us with a small cotton mouth snake. Not sure how she did it without getting bit but she did. We love her but she is defiantly a diva

Ours is a princess.  She is very fast and smart but relatively skittish.  Very vocal and frantic for her wet cat food feedings.  Will only come to us and hang out when she wants to.  Otherwise she sits In Our room and let's out this demanding meow like WER-WREOW.   Sometimes I wonder what she's trying to tell us ha ha. She was wild so she isn't a fan of being picked up but after 8 years has realized we're not out to kill her.   If there is a blanket on the couch she will only sit on the blanket; she makes sure that she does NOT touch the couch.  Peculiar cat but I'd take another.  Her blue eyes are BEAUTIFUL. Oh and she is very fit and super healthy. Not sure if that's genetic or what but her ears are always 1000 times cleaner than those of our stupid American shorthaired cat.

I've had two, both females and they were the sweetest girls ever. One was the light light gray with blue eyes. We named her Frank after Frank Sinatra. . . . When she gave birth to a mini me, we realized "Frank" was really "Francis"!!! The other was a very dark Siamese, and she was THE QUEEN. If she desired your company she was all over you, if she didn't, then she was very standoffish and relegated you to the corner!!

My momma has a dark male that weighs about 30 pounds, and he is the devil reincarnated. . . He put my grandmother in the hospital when he bit her and her leg got infected. We all love him but are very observant around him also. I will say in his defense that he belonged to a family before us---and their little girl put a pillow over him and sat on him. She also put him in the dryer. The mother worked for my mom at the bank, and when she was talking about she guessed her daughter was gonna end up killing the kitten, Momma told her that she would love to have him. He was maybe 3 months old at this point. He had a rough start.

We were adopted by a neutered male at an RV park. The park owner said take. We had him for 15 years. Such a wonderful day. I miss him every day.he had to have medicine so when we took off in the travel trailer he made every trip. I used to walk him on a leash.

I have a cat now that is marked like a Siamese but is an America bobtail.

Took "him" to the Vet this morning and he checks out OK, said he is very healthy for a stray, and very purity. LOL Now a name..if it was a girl I was going to call it Ziva, but it is a boy so, it is either Elvis or Simon. What do you all think? Or other ideas. Just what I need though, another "demanding" male..

My mother loves them. She's had Blue point's and Seal Point's. They are very vocal and bossy. They get into everything and can have an attitude but are loving and hers have always demanded attention, in the middle of everyone.

I have one I got off craigslist. I couldn't resist a blue eyed kitten and I had been wanting an indoor cat for a while. She has been a little snot since day 1 but she can be sweet too. Cats will be cats. She is actually very personable though. If your sitting down she will jump in your lap and will typically tolerate a few strokes lol. But we harass her some as well so it's not all her fault. Overall she is a good cat. As someone else said, she is very vocal and will NOT let you forget to feed her. She is a pig!

Most of the males around here, whether two or four legs, all think they're kings anyway!!!! I assumed that was normal?????

I have a siamese manx. I LOVE her. I was working in a vet clinic when someone brought in a half wild kitten with eye infections. I said oh she is so cute... and they gave her to me and all her meds lol. You would never know that at one time she was wild. She is my shadow, she follows me every where I go. If I sit down she gets right up in my lap, if I won't let her in my lap she sits on the arm of the couch. She sleeps with me every night. And she either has to be on top of me or with her head on my pillow and her front leg wrapped around my neck. She actually snuggles lol. She minds quite well, I tell everyone she is more like a dog then a cat. One time I was sitting in my chair with her in my lap, my son was pestering me and Meow ran up, hung from the side of the chair and slapped him in the face about 6 times before he even knew what happened lol. She didn't have her claws out but she made it known that no one was going to mess with me lol.

Sounds like he stepped on her tail and won't own up to it.
