| Okay GSD/Corgi? etc experts....I have a 6 month old heeler/Catahoula cross. His mom is a heeler and he basically looks like a blue merle heeler. So he's almost done teething, and some days his ears look like they will come up and some days they are for sure flopping over at the tips. I did tape them for 2 weeks while he was teething and they looked like they for sure would come up, so I quit because it's a PITA!
BUT I REALLY WANT HIS EARS TO COME UP lol
So is 6 months too late? Or should I just suck it up and go to taping? Or just wait? |

| Honestly, half catahoula and 6 months old, I think your just giving yourself a way bigger headache than it's worth. At 6 months old, his ears are probably set. |

Okay, thanks for advice!! Guess the Catahoula had more influence than just color. |

| 6 months is pretty late, so they are probably going to do whatever they want to at this point. I know we had to do the dobies really young back when we bred them. (of course, those were cropped and YES they are a PITA, but they look gorgeous afterwards) |

Location: South Central Florida | just a side note. I have a heeler, 9 years old. Last year he had a hematoma removed. Ear was down but I taped it for about 6 weeks (he has beautiful ears) and its been up ever since. When croping Great Dane ears...they had to be.done before 4 months or it was pretty much not going to happen. Good luck. |
