It's a GREAT FEELING when things start falling together, that's been falling apart for so long.
My three horse are working, bringing in checks AMEN
For the last 5 years I've been working on getting colts trained, seasoned, and healthy. The devil keeps knocking on the door of my plans. Even this past weekend, had one filly get abcess. Sunday she was dead lame. I prayed Father, guide me. I soaked her foot in pet milk and epson salt, Monday morning off to vet, it busted out on way 8 am he opened it up more I soaked again, 4:30 she was colicy , back to the vet to oil. Soaked foot again with clean trax, this morning sound YAHOO! PRAISE GOD!! Will be riding her this afternoon and tomorrow, then Friday off to San Antonio. This morning taking my Dad to heart doctor, please pray for good report.

John 15:5 I am a vine: you are the branches. If you remain in me, and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
I'm a person who often judges my own worth on performance and accomplishment. Hyperproductive , type A personality. Use whatever label you like, I get things done, and that what matters to me.
So much of this performance mentally carries over into my spiritual life.
" Just As I Am"
I try hard to bear fruit, by witnessing or doing good deeds. I work hard at remaining or abiding in Jesus, by reading Scripture, praying and sharing on BHW with you my personal journey.
Readings praying witnessing all are good things., if they flow out of our connection to Jesus. But sometimes, we do such things in an attempt (subconscious perhaps) to impress Jesus or try to earn approval.
But that is not what abiding is about, Jesus said " apart from me you can do nothing." Rather than making plans and asking Jesus to assist, I need to learn to let Him make the plans. I have to trust that fruit will be the inevitable result of life spent clinging to Jesus.
So often, we have little time with Jesus in the morning and then disconnect our little branch to go off into our day. Today, keep the image of the vine and branch in your mind. Have no other goal then abiding, turning your thoughts and heart toward Him, for a few seconds at a time, as you go through your day.
For it is WITH God ALL things are possible
Father God, guide me today to do all things,to bring glory and honor to You AMEN
Have a VERY BLESSED Day! I pray my personal journey will somehow connect you with Jesus in yours AMEN

What a perfect post for  us type "A" personalities.  LOL.   We need to just try our best to know God's plan and
follow it.  Yes that can be hard.  But we are all a work in progress.....   Thanks so much LJ for sharing to help us
also.   Have a Blessed Day all......
