When you sell a saddle online, are you okay with going through all of the time and money to ship it just to allow a refund and for them to ship it back if it doesn't fit there horse? I have also sent them EVERY measurement they have asked for. This is NOT a high dollar saddle. It is an expensive roping saddle that I am already selling for a super good price. I am using the money to fund another barrel saddle. When I sell this saddle I will be a saddle short. Am I wrong for not wanting to refund? Pay pal fees and shipping on my end alone are going to be spendy and I dont want to eat those.

Its irritating enough that people want 9 billion obsolete measurements and then don't buy. Usually I just put a tape measure everywhere and snap a picture then let them figure it out. LOL

My thought would be....if you decide to offer a refund....that you put in the contract that the refund will have "your" shipping and bank fees deducted. Additionally, make sure the contract states that they are responsible to pay the shipping back WITH insurance.

She hasn't got the saddle yet. She asked this after I sent the invoice. I told her No I do not refund unless there is something unsafe/broken on the saddle. I explained to her that the money from this saddle is funding my other saddle and with out it I am a saddle short. She said that is fine so fingers crossed I guess. It's just frustrating. I have bought several saddles online and had them shipped, some dont fit so I sell them and buy something else.

No refunds. I also clearly state that in the invoice. That had come in handy for me. I sold a saddle that pain as day measured at 16.5". A few weeks later she contacted me staying that the saddle was actually 14.5" and is mislead her and what was I going to do about it. Luckily I saved the photo of the measurement and had clearly stated no returns, and she left me alone. Just can't trust people.
