Need opinions please, my 3 year old gelding has a crooked front leg i want to train him for barrles. What do you guys think? Is it a big deal? Thanks , im going to try to post pictures.

I've got a Marthas Six moons son that has a VERY crooked foot. He is 12 and completely sound. At 3, I would leave it alone and not try to do any corrective shoeing. The tendons, joints, ligaments, etc. have all adapted to it and by trying to correct it at his age it might cause you more problems than it would fix.

Agreed. I've talked to a farrier that had done some NFR horses before (roping and barrels) and he said that you'd be surprised on how many good horses out there that don't have perfect conformations or straight legs. Now this was an older gentleman so take his 40+ years of experience with a grain of salt.
