What types of bits do you recommend for a chargey and strong mouthed horse that is naturally on the stiffer side and needs bend around the turns?

I took Brother Dave out of a bit.. He's too strong for me.
I started dinking (slow dry work)on him in a Long shank Jim Warner Hack..
He's so broke I'm now placing in the 1D in a handmade Little S Hackamore. He stays soft and keeps his round in the turn.
You may try a hack on your horse.
