The Resident Destroyer of Liberal Logic
  
Location: PNW | This town is the scene of a devastating shooting at Umpqua Community College. It is only a short drive from where I live, and I go there often to do various errands and UCC is where I generally take any licensure exams. Many friends and family live in the area, go to the college, work at the college, or know somebody who does. There are at least 10 dead and over 20 wounded. Please pray for all involved. |

| My sister in law is from Roseburg, I spent an amazing long 4th of July weekend there when she married my brother. She attended UCC as well. What a sweet, beautiful town.....I am heartbroken for them. It really can happen ANYWHERE. |

Location: Southern Oregon | Many prayers for our small community is VERY needed. I was at work when this happened at our local plywood mill. Luckily the mill went on safety stand down and brought us all into our conference room to tell us the news. They then released us all to go make as many calls as we needed to check on kids, friends and family. I personally went to UCC for several years and a majority of the people I work with have kids going to college there now. We are all kind of in shock and disbelief. Such a horrid incident, several of my close friends were in the library and heard all of this happening. Right now they are investigating a chat room the shooter was on, and disclosed what he was planning on doing today. The sad thing is several of the people on the thread were encouraging him to follow through and never reported it. Many Many Many prayers....we are all still waiting for names of the those who have been injured or deceased as we all know we will probably know several of them personally. |

To early to state any facts yet. But the NY post has an article on it with witness statements that are vary disturbing if true. |

Location: Arkansas | How sad that it has become almost "normal" to see something like this happen. It happened on a small campus in MS not far from me just about a month ago. I believe only one professor was killed there, but how unreal the world we live in has become.

I read he was asking about peoples religion, if you answer you were a christian you got shot in the head if you answered a different religion you got shot in the leg... |

Umpqua Community College was/is the local college attended by Alek Scarlatos Scarlatos was one of the 3 U.S. Heroes who took down the jihadist gunman on the train in France. Alek was enrolled in this current fall semester. Chris Harper Mercer is Social Media friends (My Space) with only two people. One of those people is Mahmoud Ali Ehsani , this attack was in retaliation for Alek's bravery in taking down the MUSLIM TRAIN SHOOTER IN FRANCE, it appears.

Seriously, why go to a community college and just start shooting people? Was the girl that was shot in the chest the girl he was referring to? WTH is wrong with people? How many school shootings this year does this make?

| Many of course will want to turn this into a gun issue for our country. I think it is a mental issue for our country. Mentally stable people don't go around killing in the masses. Our country has become a place with several mentally ill people and hardly any long term facilities to house them. Unfortunately many unstable people will reproduce. Who will they likely have children with, but someone else who may be a bit off? Then boom you have a ticking time bomb of a kid who will continue to carry on the family problems. I also think copycat type syndrome is prevalent in these situations. Some want to be famous since they feel so unknown and misunderstood. These shootings are covered in depth amd often in the media. Some people want that notoriety good or bad. I don't know. Just random thoughts. Until we figure out why so many in our country are so mentally off they would shoot up a school campus we aren't going to stop this. The guns can be removed and they will just use something else.

When my husband first went on the police force back in the early 70's, if a person was acting like they were mentally off, if they thought they might do harm to themselves or if a family member called and said a person was acting "crazy" they would take them to a mental hospital for observation. The liberals got this action stopped years ago saying it was against the mentally off people's rights. These people back then got help. Now they don't. |

Obama is spewing BS and lies right now. He never brings up the problem in the ghettos where blacks are killing blacks. 50 shooting and 14 were killed over the last 2 weeks in Chicago alone with the strictest gun laws in America.

No, they haven't released it yet
They will probably breeze over it..........and get back to guns being the problem.........and not what he actually said and motivated him..........same as they did with Roofs manifesto.......blame the flag..........
As for his dad........why wasn't he involved in his son's life......apparently there were issues similar to the Sandy Hook kid but lets blame the guns...........
And yes we do need to pray........for the families that lost loved ones and those that lived through the tragedy and will have that memory burned in the minds forever............. |
